We haven’t had much news on the subject of Mike Rowe or his popular show Dirty Jobs, but Discovery sent us an email last week about an upcoming marathon, and who doesn’t like a marathon of Dirty Jobs?!
On Monday, September 1, 2008, Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe celebrates the value of good, hard, dirty work with the Dirty Jobs Labor Day Marathon. Airing from 9AM to 10PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel, Mike travels across the United States to gets the grimy scoop on downright nasty occupations that make civilized life possible for the rest of us.
For the Labor Day Marathon, Mike serves as an apprentice on jobs such as skull cleaner, bridge painter, dairy cow midwife, salt miner and more (all times ET/PT):
