Be sure to tune into Discovery Channel tonight as Mike Rowe kicks off a fifth season of Dirty Jobs. Host Mike Rowe takes a trip to Palmyra, Pennsylvania to visit a bologna factory, where he learns what it takes to become the world’s largest producer of smokehouse bologna. Mike starts out his day at the fat removal station, cutting the excess fat and clots out of the meat before sending it into the grinder. He loads the ground meat into the mixer and adds the seasonings before transporting, hanging and slicing the meat in the smokehouse. But before this job comes to an end, he learns the importance of proper disposal practices, as he cleans out the filters in the factory’s water system to prevent any excess meat from traveling into the city’s water treatment systems.

From there, Mike heads to Alaska to find the truth behind the legend of a very special toilet – one that burns its own contents. He discovers that the burning toilet not only exists but it is also in need of fixing. Mike starts out by removing the unburned remains from the toilet before taking it completely apart, repairing it and scrubbing it all clean.

Remember, Dirty Jobs airs Tuesday nights at 9:00pm ET on Discovery Channel.
