Mike Rowe has put his name on a lot of things and not it looks like the Dirty Jobs series has inspired a cleaning product line called My Dirty Jobs.

I certainly can’t vouch for the products, but I do like that the products offered cover just about everything. It’s not just a one-size-fits-all type of approach with just one cleaning product.

New York, NY – PRESS RELEASE – February 22, 2012

My Dirty Jobs, the newest entrant in the household cleaning market, is launching a broad line of heavy-duty cleaning products formulated to handle your dirtiest jobs. The line is inspired by the Emmy®-nominated Discovery Channel series Dirty Jobs, part of Discovery Communications, the world’s number one nonfiction media company. Host Mike Rowe travels the country showcasing hard working men and women who have some of the country’s messiest occupations.

The new line will debut at Walmart and online in March 2012. My Dirty Jobs cleaning products are packed with a heavy-duty, oxygen-powered stain remover, Dirty Jobs Complete, which is produced with an original formula featuring an increased concentration of oxygen-powered enzymes, making it one of the most advanced and powerful stain-removers on the market.

“Thanks to Dirty Jobs, I’ve left a filthy trail through all 50 states and along the way I’ve met some of the best people I know, including farmers, miners and tradesmen; people who aren’t afraid to get dirty and who make civilized life possible for the rest of us,” said Rowe. “Celebrating their work and making it easier to clean up at the end of the day was a great motivation to support and launch this line of cleaning products. The fact that they really work and are affordable made the decision a no-brainer.”

Developed in consultation with Rowe, the marketing campaign for Dirty Jobs cleaning products will emphasize that whether work or play, it is okay to get dirty because at the end of the day it washes off. When Mike’s not busy getting dirty, he spends time promoting the importance of the skilled trades. His central mission executed through mikeroweWORKS is to continue to highlight our country’s need for a skilled workforce to make civilized life possible for all of us. Both mikeroweWORKS and the mikeroweWORKS Foundation will be a key part of the campaign.

Later this year, additional Dirty Jobs cleaning products will be available at major retail locations and specialty stores nationwide, including a bleach-powered bathroom cleaner, an oxygen-powered foaming cleanser, a carpet spray aerosol, a multi-surface cleaner, a laundry spot-remover and a degreaser and hand sanitizer.

“We have developed Heavy-Duty Dirty Jobs Cleaning Products to combat the dirtiest jobs in America,” said President and Co-founder of My Dirty Jobs, Adam Lerner. “With a strong line-up of products, we naturally sought out the dirtiest guy on the planet, Mike Rowe, to help us get a Dirty Jobs cleaning product under every sink!”

“When you think of the show Dirty Jobs several things come to mind– dirt and mud with an overall giant mess to clean up,” said Elizabeth Bakacs, Vice President of Licensing for Discovery Channel. “The goal of this line is to provide consumers with a complete line of products unlike any other on the shelf today, all designed to make life’s everyday messes a little easier to tackle.”

This should be an exciting night for us all. Not only does Mike Rowe star in another all-new episode of Dirty Jobs, but he’s also guest starring in a new episode of Last Man Standing. We’ve been promoting that appearance quite a bit over the last week or two. It’s finally time. Be sure to tune in to ABC at 8pm EST for the thirty-minute episode.

Also, don’t forget about Dirty Jobs at 9pm EST on Discovery. In “Dirty Conversations 2″, Mike takes a look back at some of the unusual and quirky conversations he’s had with his dirty co-workers. Using 99.9% never-before-seen footage, it’s an entertaining look at the art of communication.

As if a photo gallery weren’t good enough, we’ve now got a video clip of Mike Rowe’s appearance on Tuesday’s all-new episode of Last Man Standing.

Be sure to tune in to ABC on Tuesday, February 21st at 8pm EST.

I know I’ll be there. I’ve had a season pass for the series right from the start. I think Mike’s going to be just fine. Let’s hope this leads to a recurring role.

Mike’s a busy man. In between new episodes of Dirty Jobs, he’s busy doing a guest spot on Last Man Standing and he’s raising money for charity on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

The Millionaire folks released a behind-the-scenes clip of Mike on the show and it’s hilarious. It’s nice to see Mike making light of the fact that he is under some pressure to do well on the show for his foundation.

If you intend to catch Mike’s installment, I recommend checking out your local listings for the specific time of Mike’s episode which is slated to run on Monday and Tuesday, February 27-28, 2012. I’m assuming the two dates may indicate Mike’s time on the show starts near the end of the episode on the 27th and continues on the following show.

ABC has made some photos available for promoting Mike’s upcoming appearance on Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing and we got our hands on them. Take a look below, followed by the official plot description of the episode.

WHEN MIKE’S BROTHER AND DAD COME TO TOWN TO BID ON A NEW OUTDOOR MAN BUILDING, SIBLING RIVALRIES COME TO THE SURFACE, ON ABC’S “LAST MAN STANDING”

Guest Stars Include Mike Rowe (“Dirty Jobs”), Robert Forster (“The Descendants,” “Jackie Brown”) and Frankie Muniz (“Malcolm in the Middle”)

“Baxter & Sons” – When Mike finds out that his younger brother, Jimmy (Mike Rowe), and their father, Bud (Robert Forster), will bid on building a new Outdoor Man store, sibling rivalries between the two competitive brothers surface. Things get more heated when the brothers take a meeting with a loan officer (Frankie Muniz). Meanwhile, Mandy, Eve and Kristin think Bud should have a girlfriend and help him create an online profile, on “Last Man Standing,” TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Last Man Standing” stars Tim Allen as Mike, Nancy Travis, as Vanessa, Kaitlyn Dever as Eve, Molly Ephraim as Mandy, Alexandra Krosney as Kristin, Christoph Sanders as Kyle and Hector Elizondo as Ed.

Guest starring are Mike Rowe as Jimmy, Robert Forster as Bud, Frankie Muniz as Richard and Rebecca Morales as woman.

“Baxter & Sons” teleplay by Marsh McCall, story by Kim Flagg and directed by John Pasquin.

Tonight on Dirty Jobs, Mike spends the day working as an onion processor at Gills Onions where he slices, dices and tastes onions before cleaning out the juicing machine and parts of the reactor. Then he visits the San Francisco Fire Department to help build wooden ladders.

Dirty Jobs airs tonight on Discovery Channel at 9pm EST.

When Mike Rowe appears on most shows, it’s typically as narrator only. He’s often featured on documentaries in such a role. Thanks to the folks at Last Man Standing, a family sitcom starring Tim Allen, Mike’s actually going to be acting. He’ll be playing the brother of Tim Allen’s character, Mike Baxter.

There’s no official word on which episode Mike will appear on so stay tuned. I’ll be sure to pass on that information when I get it.

UPDATE: Mike’s episode of Last Man Standing airs February 21, 2012.

I highly recommend checking out Mike’s official site which contains several questions and answers regarding the episode and his relationship with Tim Allen.

Who’s ready for the next Dirty Jobs song?! Mike Rowe has another one lined up for Tuesday, February 7th at 9pm when the “Tower Top Hand” episode airs. In addition to building a radio tower in that episode, Mike’s also going to be celebrating the fact that Dirty Jobs has been to all fifty states.

Get an early look at the song Mike will be singing in the video clip below.

Mike’s next apprenticeship will take him hundreds of feet into the air as he erects a massive 330-foot radio communications tower. With the tower being so narrow, the Dirty Jobs crew had to use a variety of camera setups to get all of the desired shots.

I HIGHLY recommend visiting which has a terrific article about this upcoming episode. They interviewed Dirty Jobs executive producer Dave Barsky and Kevin Reski, the guy who runs the crew that built the tower with Mike’s assistance.

While you wait for “Tower Top Hand” to air on February 7th at 9pm EST on Discovery, take a look at some video previews of that same episode.
