I enjoyed watching Mike reintroduce us to some of the past characters. My favorite remains Ashley, the mosquito girl. I can’t think of her without thinking of Mike’s insanely direct statement of “You’re not like the other girls.” God bless her for not taking offense to it and instead laughed along with Mike and everyone watching. It remains one of my favorite quotes from the show and there have been some doozies.

I’m really looking forward to this episode. It seems like it’s been a long time since we’ve had any new Dirty Jobs episodes.

Hosted by Mike Rowe, Dirty Jobs, will see a special episode called “The Dirty Truth” air on Monday, June 14th. You can expect to see “After the Catch” and a special MythBusters episode, in addition to several other special hours of programming in the unique anniversary week in June.

I just heard that one of the stores selling the Original Dirt Shirts caught fire and burned to the ground. Thankfully no one was killed and the insurance ought to take care of everything lost in the blaze.

I can’t say I’m surprised by this. It would have been an interesting coincidence if it had been a Ford.
